Police: Cross-dressers charged after robbery

STAMFORD, Conn. (CT Post) -- Three male cross-dressers were charged with robbery and assault after pepper-spraying three men on Atlantic Street and stealing one of their cellphones, police said.

Casey Medley, 21, of 46 Stillwater Ave., Stamford; Christopher Schenck, 23, of Baltimore; and Ronald Brown, 23, of Baltimore; were charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree assault.

Capt. Tom Wuennemann said the six men were at the Elite Nightclub at 129 Atlantic St. when a disturbance broke out after someone realized a cellphone had been taken.
