Police have suspect in Vernon stabbing

Vernon, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have a suspect in a stabbing that took place in Vernon Thursday night.

The incident occurred just before midnight, at 76 Union St.

The victim, Robert Haskell, was taken to the hospital on the hood of a police cruiser in serious, but stable condition. Haskell has since been released.

Police are not yet releasing the name of the suspect.

The incident remains under investigation.
