BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Berlin are investigating a bank robbery that took place Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 2 p.m., at the UBI Credit Union, located at 40 Chamberlain Highway in the Kensington section of Berlin.
The suspect is described as an unshaven white man, approximately 5'11" tall, weighing 225 lbs. He was wearing a blue knit cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, and black sweatpants with a white stripe down the legs at the time of the incident.
The suspect indicated that he had a weapon and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
A K-9 track was conducted of the area, but the suspect was not located.
No one was injured during the robbery.
