DAYVILLE, Conn. (WTNH)-- Police are investigating a bank robbery in Dayville, that happened late Thursday morning.
Police say a white male, in his mid 30's, presented a note robbing the Jewett City Savings Bank around 11:30 A.M.
The man is described as about 5'6" tall with a stocky build and brown scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a white shirt, a dark knit watch cap with a white logo, dark sunglasses and blue jeans.
Police say no weapon was implied or shown. The suspect also provided a bag to put the money in.
The suspect left in a four door, possibly Hyundai, sedan with a white license plate ECA037, in green letters.
