HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Hartford Friday and the victim has been identified by family members.
Police were called to 236 Sisson Avenue for a reported serious assault with a firearm Friday night.
Upon arrival, police the victim, who was later identified as Omar Santana, 28, suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Santana was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 7 p.m.
Family members told News 8 that Santana didn't have any enemies and that they don't know why he may have been a target.
