Police investigate Watertown package store robbery

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a package store in the Oakville section of Watertown.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Wednesday, at Davis Street Package Store.

Police said a man entered the package store on Davis Street, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The man is described as a black man, 6'2", 170 lbs., with a thin build and possible facial hair on his chin.

Several customers were in the store at the time of the robbery.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money towards the Waterbury city line.

The incident is under investigation.
