WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Nearly two weeks after a man was killed in Waterbury, police say they have identified his killer.
Police have filed an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Joseph Walker on charges that he was involved in the May 12 murder of David Caban on Proctor Street. Caban was sitting in the back seat of a Mitsubishi Gallant when he was shot.
Police say were two other men in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, the driver and a front seat passenger. Solomon Taylor of Jamaica, N.Y., was arrested for his role in the murder.
Walker faces charges of felony murder, first degree robbery, first degree conspiracy at robbery, and criminal possession of a firearm. These charges carry a $2 million bond.
Police believe Walker fled to New York City after the shooting.
Officers say they have determined Walker and Caban knew each other and the murder was drug related.
Anyone with information about the murder or Walker's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 203-755-1234.
