Police: Man found dead in burning car was shot

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Monday in Hartford.

Around 10 p.m., Hartford PD and Hartford FD responded to 18 Monroe St., on a report of a vehicle fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the victim in the driver's seat was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his head.

The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Ricardo Arroyo, of Wethersfield.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Lieutenant Brian Foley at (860) 757-4463.
