Police search for an armed robbery suspect

New Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - Robert F. Cushard, 37, is wanted on charges of a Violation of Probation and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad is seeking to locate Cushard for his connection to an armed robbery that occurred in New Hartford on August 2.

He is 6 feet tall and 240 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Cushard has ties to Winsted, Torrington, Hartford and Waterbury.

Anyone with information concerning Cushard’s whereabouts is urged to contact Connecticut State Police at 800-497-0403 or 860-824-2500.
