WOLCOTT, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for a burglary suspect in the Wolcott area.
Shortly after noon Friday, officers were in a foot pursuit of the suspect in the area of 352 Center St.
The suspect then fled into the woods between Center and Harrison streets.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'9" tall, green eyes, and short sandy brown hair parted in the middle. He was wearing a grey-colored polo shirt and tan shorts.
The man has been tentatively identified as Kevin Mendez or Francesco Mendez.
Officers are still in the area looking for the suspect.
Anyone who sees a person matching the suspect's description is asked to call Wolcott Police at 203-879-1414.
