Police search for cafe robbery suspect

Tolland, Conn. (WTNH) - Police are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing a Tolland cafe on Saturday.

The incident took place around noon, at the Electric Blue Cafe on Route 195.

State Police said an employee called 911 stating that she had been robbed by a man armed with a knife, and a ski mask covering his face.

According to police, the suspect fled on foot to a red SUV or pickup truck with a cap on the back. The vehicle then drove off in an unknown direction.

The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.
