Police search for lawn mower thief

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating three separate incidents involving the theft of power equipment.
The thefts took place during the months of May and June.
Police said the most recent incident, which occurred on Saturday, involves the theft of a red Poulan XT riding lawn mower, Model PXT175G42.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5'8" and 6' tall. He had a shaved head and carried some extra weight around his midsection.
The suspect also appeared to have tattoos on his right forearm. He was wearing a black t-shirt with green and white lettering on it, jeans and work boots.
The most recent incident was caught on video surveillance.
Anyone with information is asked to call East Hampton police.
