MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) -- Streets were blocked off and area schools were put into lockdown as police searched for shooting suspects in Manchester Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., in the area of 243 Oak St.
Witnesses described the suspects as fleeing the scene in a tan Ford Escort after firing an unknown number of shots at the residence.
No one was injured as a result of the gunshots.
A short time later, police observed the suspect vehicle at a residence on Main St., in the vicinity of Haynes St.
A perimeter was set up blocking off traffic, the suspects were located and detained inside the residence.
Area schools were put into lockdown for a short time while police searched for the suspects.
