BRIDGEWATER, Conn. (AP) - A man has been charged with growing marijuana on Connecticut property that records show is owned by actress Mia Farrow.

State police say they found 24 marijuana plants and 2 pounds of marijuana Thursday at Robert Girard's apartment in Bridgewater, a town of about 2,000 residents.

Property records say Farrow owns 124 Henry Sanford Road, where four buildings are shown. There's no separate listing for Girard's apartment, 124A.

Girard is charged with cultivating marijuana, possessing more than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession with intent to sell. He was released on $10,000 bond and is to appear in court Aug. 15. He declined to comment Friday.

Farrow's spokeswoman hasn't returned an email seeking comment.

State police Lt. Paul Vance says the "Rosemary's Baby" actress wasn't a target of the investigation.
