ROCKY HILL, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut law enforcement officials are unveiling the second issue of playing cards they hope will help crack some unsolved cases.

The so-called "cold case" playing cards, which are sold to inmates in the state's prison system, include photos and information about unsolved homicides and missing persons' cases. There is also contact information so inmates can submit tips to investigators.

Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane and Department of Correction Commissioner Leo Arnone have scheduled a news conference on Wednesday release the latest deck of cards.

The state first issued "cold case" playing cards in 2010 in hopes that inmates could help link a case with a criminal.
