Shooting suspect arrested in NYC

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Hartford man was arrested in New York City for his role in a shooting in Keney Park.

24-year-old Brian Gooden was arrested by NYPD and awaits extradition to Connecticut to face charges after police say he was involved with a June 11 shooting in Keney Park.

Gooden has been charged with first degree assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and criminal use of a firearm. He is being held on a judge set bond of $500,000.
