NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)--Norwich police responded to shots fired after a domestic dispute on Sunday morning.
Police say Carlos Ortiz, 35, fired numerous rounds at a parked car with multiple handguns, following a domestic dispute at 252 Old Canterbury Turnpike lot #53, around 8:41 AM.
Ortiz fled the scene but was later located by Willimantic police. He was also treated and released from Windham Hospital for cuts to his hand.
Ortiz was charged with reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal mischief and carrying a pistol without a permit.
He was held on $250,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday morning.
