CHAPLIN, Conn. (AP) — State police are looking for two men in the assault of a Chaplin woman who was knocked unconscious in her front yard.

Troopers say they received a 911 call at about 9 p.m. Thursday from a man who reported finding his wife in front of their home off Route 6.

The 40-year-old woman told police that the two men stopped at her home to look at a truck for sale. She said she was talking with them when she was hit in the head, and later woke up as her husband was standing over her. She wasn't seriously hurt.

Troopers say the suspects are two white men who are 20 to 30 years old. They were driving a red, compact-style pickup.

Anyone with information is urged to call state police.
