Stratford man stabbed multiple times

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- A man was stabbed multiple times in Stratford on Sunday morning.

Police responded to a report of an assault at an apartment complex at 41 Canaan Court, in the parking lot adjacent to building 78, at 9:40 AM.

Police say they found an 18-year-old male stabbed multiple times at the scene.

The victim was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspect fled on foot in the apartment complex. He is described as a white male in his mid 20's, who was wearing a white t-shirt and possibly blue jeans. He also has shorter black hair and appears to not have shaved in a couple days.

Detectives say the may have identified a possible suspect.

The incident is still under investigation.
