Tolland, Conn. (WTNH) - Police in Tolland are continuing to investigate the robbery of a local cafe.
After talking with witnesses and viewing the cafe's surveillance tape, officers have determined that they are looking for a Hispanic or white male. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and work boots.
The Electric Blue Cafe on Rt. 195 was robbed on Feb. 11 around 12:14 p.m.
The female victim told police that she had opened the bar when the suspect approached her and demanded money. He was armed with a knife.
After collecting an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect tied up the victim and drove off in either a red SUV type vehicle or a small pickup truck.
The victim was not injured in the incident.
