MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Milford police are searching for a suspect who robbed a local Subway restaurant.
Just before 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, a man between 18-20-years-old entered the restaurant at 1 River Road and engaged an employee in a conversation.
During their talk, the suspect told the employee he had a gun in his backpack and demanded money.
The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the suspect left. Witnesses say he got on a bicycle and headed west on North Broad Street.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, between 5'9-5'10". He was wearing gray gym shorts with two white stripes down the sides of them, a dark colored long sleeve sweatshirt with writing on the left breast area, white sneakers and a New York Yankees hat.
