BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- Bridgeport police are investigating a bank robbery.
The TD North Bank at 975 Madison Avenue was robbed around 11:30 a.m.
Witnesses told police an older white man handed the teller a note that read, "Give me the money." After getting about $3,000 cash, he fled north on Madison Avenue. Police think from there he went onto Garfield Avenue.
No one was injured in the robbery.
Surveillance shows the average height man was wearing a white and blue New York Giants Super Bowl Champions baseball hat, white long sleeve shirt on backwards and inside out, dark colored pants, and dark colored shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Thomas Scholl at 203-581-5250.
