Manchester, Conn. (WTNH) - A Hartford teen already facing a murder charge in the shooting death of an elderly man is now facing murder charges in the shooting death of a Manchester convenience store clerk.
Charles Wilson, 18, was formally charged Tuesday with the shooting death of 36-year-old Aurang Zaib Sahi inside the Super Convenience Store on May 22.
"A lot of people come in, you know, everyone knew him for years and years, about six or seven years he had been at this store. Everybody had something to say, or somebody cry...every single person that came into the store knew him he was a very nice human being," said Sahi's friend, Saleem Baig.
In the warrant, Wilson finally admits he pulled the trigger in Baig's death, though it is a small comfort for Sahi's wife and kids.
"They're doing alright, the family - she's got immediate family around her, they're holding up. She's pregnant, due in a couple of weeks, that's all I know for now," Baig said.
Wilson was arrested last week for the shooting death of 74-year-old Andrew Igidi outside the Hot Corner Market in Hartford. Police say Wilson tried to rob Igidi and when he fought back, Wilson shot him.
Wilson is being held on a three million bond for the Manchester murder.
