SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A teenager has been arrested for allegedly committing a nighttime burglary in Southington.
Jordan Uliasz, 19, was arrested Thursday night around 6:45 p.m. on allegations he burglarized a home in the Curtiss Street area of Southington.
Several burglaries have been reported in that area. The burglaries occurred either during the late night or early morning hours while residents were at home sleeping.
Forensic evidence was used to link Uliasz to the scene of one particular burglary.
Uliasz now faces charges of first degree burglary, home invasion, third degree larceny, and third degree criminal mischief.
He is being held on $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
Police say the investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
