Teen seriously injured in Ansonia shooting

Ansonia, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 17-year-old is in serious condition after he was shot in Ansonia.
Marquvios Mullins, 17, was shot near his home on Olson Drive Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m.
He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to his rib cage area. He is currently listed in serious condition.
Police say the suspect is a black male in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing dark clothing and possibly a dark-colored hat.
The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ansonia Police Department Detective Division at 203-735-1885.
