New Haven teen shot while riding bike

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- A 19-year-old man was critically hurt after being shot in New Haven around late Saturday.

Witnesses said that Christopher Fain, was riding his bicycle on Dixwell Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when he was shot in the buttocks and mouth.

Police say that gunfire was also reported on Shelton Avenue.

Fain was taken to the area hospital and is currently in critical condition.The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have yet be identified.
