New Haven stabbing suspects caught

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - New Haven police have arrested three people in connection with a January stabbing.

A 47-year-old New Haven resident was stabbed in his torso on January 6 after confronting the trio who were hanging out in front of his building at State and Pearl Streets.

Police say they were able to identify and arrest Heriberto Colon, 21, Geovanni Baez, 21, and a 17-year-old whose name is being withheld.

They were each charged with first degree assault, conspiracy to commit assault, and breach of peace.

They were each held on a $200,000 court set bond.
