LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police said two men have been arrested in connection with two burglaries committed in Ledyard last year.

According to police, one of the incidents was a residential burglary in a vacant home in which copper piping was taken. The other was a burglary in a building at the Ledyard Sportsman Club, in which money was taken. An investigation into the burglaries began in late December 2012.

On February 15th, police arrested 35-year-old Jeffrey Chapman, of 72 Noyes Ave., Pawcatuck. He was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny, and second-degree criminal mischief.
