Two children stabbed in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- Two children were stabbed in Hartford on Tuesday night, during a house party.

Police were called to 27 Winchester Street around 11 PM, where they found a house party attended by many people.

An altercation broke out on a porch and when the two children, ages 9 and 14, came to their mother's defense, they sustained lacerations, police said.

Their injuries were non life threatening.

Two people were arrested but more arrests are expected.
