SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- South Windsor and Connecticut state police are investigating the assaults of two men at an automobile performance business.
Police were called to Forced Induction Motorsports on Edwin Street by one of the victims.
When officers arrived at the business they found two men who had been savagely beaten. Both men suffered serious head and face wounds.
Police identified the victims as 28-year-old business owner Robert Lareau and 21-year-old employee Ryan Kelleher.
Both were taken to Hartford Hospital.
Officials said Lareau is in the hospital's intensive care unit. Kelleher was injured, but was conscious and able to assist with the investigation.
The state police Major Crimes Squad is assisting in the investigation.
