Two suspected burglars busted

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- East Hampton police Monday arrested a man and woman suspected of breaking into an auto repair business and stealing money and tools.
Donald Powell and Katelyn Cook were arrested on multiple charges including burglary and larceny.
Police were called to Classic Auto on East High Street around 2:20 a.m. after someone reported something suspicious going on.
According to police, there was a burglary going on when officers arrived and they caught two people running out the back door.
Powell, 43, of Hartford, is charged with burglary, larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.
Cook, 19, of East Hampton, is charged with the same crimes, and also possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.
