Vernon couple arrested for lovers' spat

VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) -- An engaged couple from Vernon was arrested Tuesday after engaging in a physical fight with each other.
Police said 29-year-old Sara Bennett, of 51 Grove St., admitted to pushing and shoving her fiancee during an argument.
Similarly, 38-year-old Christopher Deline, of 51 Grove St., admitted to police that he pushed and shoved his fiancee during the dispute. He also reported to have hit her in the mouth.
Bennett was charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a $500 bond.
Deline was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was also released on a $500 bond.
