VERNON, Conn. (WTNH)-- Neighbors in Vernon, who lived with Wyoming killer, Christopher Krumm, said he was a nice guy who pretty much kept to himself and would openly talk about being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.
Casper police say Krumm shot his father, James Krumm, with a bow and arrow. His father was a professor at a community college and police said Christopher killed him in front of his computer science class. He then killed himself with a knife.
Police say he smuggled the weapons on to campus under a blanket.
"He was a good guy and for something like this to happen, I can't even, I don't even have words for it at this point. It's just so sad and I can't believe that I was living next to that guy," said Kim Warren.
Dr. Mark Greenstein, from St. Francis Hospital, who is an expert in autism and Asperger's syndrome, said it's very unusual for people on the autism spectrum to act out violently, like in this case.
Police are still trying to figure out Krumm's motive.
