VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Vernon woman was arrested after getting into a drunken altercation with another woman and her infant child, police said.
The incident occurred around 8:30 Saturday night.
According to police, 31-year-old Jessica Lee Diaz, of 10 Orchard St., was intoxicated and very uncooperative towards officers.
Diaz was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, risk of injury to a minor and interfering/resisting.
Police said while in jail, Diaz destroyed two cell blankets. She was additionally charged with criminal mischief.
Diaz is scheduled to appear in court on January 29th.
