SOUTHBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Southington man was arrested after removing a political sign from a pick-up truck and damaging the truck in the process.
The incident occurred at 385 Main Street South, Union Square, in Southbury.
Police said James R. Pavlick Jr., 39, of 23 West Ridge Rd., Southington, removed a Lisa Wilson Foley for Congress sign from the rear of the truck, damaging the plastic liner of the truck.
Pavlick is a volunteer for Mark Greenberg for Congress.
Pavlick was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and creating a public disturbance.
He is scheduled to appear in court on August 22nd.
