WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- A hearing impaired man was hurt after being robbed at gunpoint in West Haven, early Sunday.
Police say the victim was walking in the area of West Spring Street and Stevens Avenue around 4:15 AM, when he was approached by three males.
The suspects displayed a handgun and pistol whipped the victim. They then took his wallet and phone.
Police describe the suspects as white males who fled in a Honda Civic or Accord type vehicle, that was black and white.
The victim was taken to the hospital for facial lacerations.
