West Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - A West Haven man is facing charges after police say he threatened a bank manager with a utility knife.
It happened at the Bank of America on Campbell Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
The accused, 44-year old Andrew Conti, entered the bank and demanded to speak to a manager because he wanted his money taken out "right now!" He told a female teller that he would only speak to a male manager.
Conti was allegedly screaming expletives and then pulled out the knife, pointing it at the bank employee who was sitting across the desk from him.
Conti has been charged with breach of peace, threatening and carrying a dangerous weapon.
