Coventry, Conn. (WTNH) - A Coventry woman is under arrest on charges she made bomb threats to First Niagara Banks.
Nicolina McLean, 45, was arrested by state police on three felony counts of threatening.
Last week Coventry police were called to investigate threats at the First Niagara Bank at 3534 Main Street and 1372 Main Street after a woman called and said there was a bomb inside. There was also a hand-written note in a night deposit box saying there was a bomb.
No devices were found.
Coventry police, along with state police and the FBI, were eventually able to identify McLean as a suspect and she was arrested while driving her car in Coventry, police said.
McLean was held on $375,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned in Rockville Superior Court.
Police are investigating other bomb threats in Mansfield and Manchester.
