HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A woman was stabbed in Hartford during an attempted robbery Saturday morning, police say.
The victim told police that she was walking at 194 Westland Street when a group of women assaulted her and attempted to steal her purse.
After the women fled the scene, the woman who was stabbed reportedly walked to the hospital for treatment.
Police say they arrived at St. Francis Hospital around 12:23 a.m. Saturday. The victim was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was not able to identify anyone in the group that committed the attempted robbery and assault.
