Brooklyn, Conn. (WTNH) - A woman turned herself into Brooklyn police after stabbing a man.
On December 2, officers arrived at 11 Middle Street in Brooklyn. They were expecting to find a stabbing victim, but instead found nothing. After an investigation, officers determined that the incident actually occurred at 10B Front Street.
When they arrived at the real crime scene, police found 20-year-old Tiffany Despirt. She was transported to Day Kimball Hospital with head injuries.
Police determined that Despirt had gotten into an fight and stabbed a unidentified man.
The man's condition is unknown at this time.
On December 5, the Superior Court at Danielson issued an arrest warrant for Despirt. She turned herself into police the next day.
She was charged with second degree assault. She was held on a $2,500 cash or surety bond.
Police did not say what the fight was about, but did say more arrests are expected.
