Glastonbury, Conn. (WTNH) -- While walking out of the court doors, a Glastonbury man arrested for voyeurism and child pornography, expressed remorse to his victims.
Police say a complaint was made against 38-year-old Alounkune Vongsarasinh for placing a digital camera in a residential bathroom to video tape a mother and her 15-year-old daughter.
Police arrested Vongsarasinh Tuesday night after they viewed videos of the 15-year-old on the camera.
Police say the teenager found a small black camcorder wedged between the windowsill and window blind in the downstairs bathroom. Vongsarasinh moved into a second floor bedroom in their Glastonbury home about a month ago.
Police say Vongsarasinh is seen on camera installing the camcorder. He later admitted to downloading personal images to his personal computer of the mother and daughter.
According to the police affidavit, one of the images shown is over eight minutes long. The teenager is undressing in full view of the camera. At one point, her mother walks in.
Vongsarasinh told police he's been spying on them for about two weeks, but has not uploaded any images onto the Internet.
He faced a judge Wednesday in Manchester Superior Court.
After posting bond, News 8 caught up with Vongsarasinh leaving court. When asked if there was anything he would like to say to the victims, he replied "I'm terribly sorry."
Vongsarasinh can't go anywhere near the victims. The judge signed a protective order.
He's due back in court May 4th.
