16-year-old Greenwich boy missing

GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 16-year-old Greenwich boy has been missing since Dec. 1.

Jeremy O'Connell ran away from his home on Saturday night.

His family believes Jeremy snuck out of the house and left the area with some friends, police reported.

The friends have all been interviewed and have not seen or spoken to Jeremy since he left his house.

Jeremy is approx. 5'10'', weighs 180 lbs and wears glasses. He may be wearing a black fleece jacket.

Jeremy has spoken about going to Washington D.C., Ohio, and California and has the means to facilitate a trip police said.
