Officials probe Fairfield drowning

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Officials are investigating after a 28-year-old male drowned in a pool in Fairfield.
According to Fairfield officials, the 28-year-old unidentified man was pulled from the pool at a home on Evergreen Hill Road Sunday night around 6.
Bystanders began performing CPR after he was found unconscious in the water and continued to do so until firefighters arrived on scene.
He was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
