CT police locate missing OH woman

DARIEN, Conn. (AP) —  Police in Connecticut have found an Ohio woman who disappeared while visiting family.

Darien police say 72-year-old Laurie Reed has dementia and was found shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday in a vehicle along Route 9 in Hartford.

She is OK and is being reunited with her family.

Reed has been visiting family in Darien, and had been missing for 17 hours after she used a family member's vehicle Wednesday afternoon to drop off another family member at Darien High School.
