BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- The annual Bridgeport Arts Festival kicked off Saturday morning.
Vendors lined the green with everything from clothing to jewelry and even hand made duct tape hula hoops.
News 8 talked to a vendor who says the hula hoop is the must have item, especially if you want to stay and enjoy the concerts Saturday night.
"It's so much fun. Later on when the bands start, of course, it's the easiest way to dance at a music festival," said vendor Lisa Spetrini. "You create a circle around you of course and it's a moving meditation and massage I would say."
The after party concert goes until 10 p.m. Saturday and there is no cost for admission.
