NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- Norwalk police say a mean has been apprehended after he was reported to be armed with a firearm near a former school.
Police say that the standoff ended peacefully and that negotiators were able to talk the man out. He surrendered on his own terms.
News 8's Stephanie Simoni reported that several officers reported to the Ben Franklin Center, where there is a daycare program.
According to The Hour newspaper the man had already fired a warning shot.
