Boat size may be limited on Candlewood

    Danbury, Conn. (WTNH) - The Department of Environmental Protection is taking a serious look at limiting the size of boats allowed on Candlewood Lake.

    This comes in the wake of a fatal boat crash there in 2008.

    The DEP is holding a meeting in Danbury to explain a proposal to limit vessels to 26 feet.

    The meeting's was held Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Western Connecticut State University's Science building.
