NEWTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A lot of community members don't know what to do and don't know how to express their grief so the church is a great place for people to come together.
News 8's Bob Wilson spoke with a couple who belongs to the church.
"A couple of the kids are members here. I think it's just really important for us to hopefully heal as a community and I think a prayer vigil like this will hopefully be the best way to do that," one of the teachers said.
News 8's Wilson also spoke with a Sunday School teacher who has at least 3 families with children at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
"This to me is the most tragic thing this has happened in the United States in a very long time. These are small children and they relied on adults to protect them," the teacher said.
