Danbury woman killed in crash

Danbury, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 19-year-old woman was killed in a Friday morning crash in Danbury.

Police identified the woman as Melyssa Carvalho of Danbury.

Police say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed on White Street when the car crossed over Lee Hartell Drive and struck a concrete barrier.

A male passenger in the car was taken the hospital. His condition and name were not available.
