GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- A small earthquake was felt in parts of Connecticut Friday Night.
The U.S. Geological Survey told the Stamford Police Department that an earthquake, measuring 2.1 on the Richter scale, affected portions of Stamford and Greenwich.
The epicenter of the earthquake was said to have been in Virginia, although places as far away as Connecticut felt the quake.
Some residents believed there may have been an explosion, but the confirmed cause of the tremors was the earthquake.
Take a look at some of the Report It photos we received in November, 2012.
